i Ann Williams, born c1755. Ann married Jonathon Brew (c1750 - 1778 - Killaloe Wills) of Trellig, West Clare, on the 29 July 1775. Registry of Deeds as follows: 

315-476-215494. Reg'd 11 April 1778, by Jonathon Brew. Deed Poll or Articles of Intermarriage, dated 29 July 1775, between John Williams of Clarefield, Co. Clare on behalf of his daughter, Ann of one part, & Jonathon Brew of Trellig, Co Clare, farmer, of other part, whereby Jonathon Brew for [?} therein mentioned did [?] that if Ann should survive him she should enjoy the entire half of his affects, real and personal and also half of his freehold interest in Trellig & Cartruefree, also half of any of their lease or freehold he may acquire for her own and use of the children of the marriage, same to be divided equally between her and the children & if no children, she should have said half her own use & [?].

The townland of Cartruefree, is a reference to Carrowfree, near Moyadda, east of Kilrush.

The Settlement of half the effects was fortunate with the Brews. It occurs in the marriage settlements of Chartres Brew, filing 1782, and of his double first cousin, Richard Brew, 27 May 1786. 

Johnathon is of the same age as Chartres Brew (b.1756, son of Tomkins) and Richard Brew (b.c1759, son of Richard Brew), and Jonathon was the first to marry out of the three to set the marriage conditions. [See Brew Family]

It is very likely the following three Williams, were related, to John, David and George. John Williams of Carnacalla, Kilrush, Michael Williams, of Frances Street, Kilrush, hotelier and David Williams. 

1 John Williams, of Carnacalla, (c1796 - 1879), married Jane (unknown c1813 - 1883). Is the marriage to Jane Pilkington? A John Williams, married Jane Pilkington in 1831, Killaloe, MLB. John and Jane had the following children: 

i Jane Williams, who married John Casey, in 1854, Kilrush, COI. Witnesses: John Williams & Elijah Bradley. Known children: 

Katie A Casey, of Mt. Rivers, Doonbeg.  Katie was present at the death of her grandmother, Jane Williams. 

ii Richard Williams (c1851 - 1900). Richard married Mary Daly, in 1878, daughter of Jane Parkinson and Dennis Daly, and granddaughter of Robert Parkinson and Elizabeth Butler, of Broomhill House, Kilrush. Mary Daly is the niece of William Henry Parkinson, who married Elizabeth Heaphy, in 1878. 

iii Joseph Williams, who married Sarah Jane Howe, of Tarbert, Kerry, in 1866, Kilferagh, COI. 

iv William Williams, who married Mary McTigue in 1857, Kilrush Registry. Children of William and Mary:

vi Anne Williams, who married Charles O'Donnell (son of Charles O'Donnell), in 1872, Killard, COI, Kilrush.  Witnesses: Thomas Williams & Thomas Brew. 

2 Michael Williams, c1791 - 1873, was a hotelier on Frances Street, Kilrush. Michael married Catherine (unknown - c1804 - 1882). Slater's Directory of 1846, records Williams Hotel (Commercial, Family & Posting House), 30 Frances Kilrush. Michael and Catherine had the following known children: 

i Catherine Williams (1834 - 1915). Catherine married Matthew Blundell, in 1862, Kilrush COI. 

ii Michael Williams, married Lavinia (unknown - c1839 - 1871). 

iii Thomas Williams (1828 - 1850)

3 David Williams, married (unknown) and the following known son: 

i David Williams, Coast Guard, married Annie Peacock in 1873, Kilrush COI. Known children: 

Joseph Henry Williams, 1883 - 1883, died as infant, son of David Williams, Coast Guard.

Mary Williams, born c1810, of the same time as John, Michael and David Williams. Mary married John Heaphy, of Kilrush, on the 22 January 1830, Kilrush COI. John is currently listed under the Kilrush/Clare branch, with no known origin, however is likely related to Robert Heaphy (Teacher and ancestor of the Ballynacally family of school teachers) & John Heaphy (School Principal & Lecturer at Kilrush Science Institute), of Kilrush. Mary had died before 1840, as John Heaphy, married Margaret Cartney (1817 - 1851) in 1840, Kilrush COI. The couple had a family with Margaret dying in 1851, buried in Kilrush COI, cemetery.

Limerick Gazette. 24 March 1812. Death. On Tuesday last in the bloom of youth, Mary Ann, daughter of Brew Cox of Clarefield, of County Clare, Esq

Brew Cox had died by 1828 (Ref: Inland Revenue Wills & Administrations - Will dated 23 June 1827, value £3,391) and his widow, Prudence Cox was executor to his estate. *This Catherine Brew is the Catherine Parkinson (possible sister of Robert Parkinson, Broomhill) who married John Brew in 1802, Killaloe MLB. The Parkinson Brew, b. c1816, is their son.
